C.R.O.P stands for Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty, and we participated in College Station’s Annual Hunger Walk to help eradicate hunger. All together we helped raise over $10,000! Twenty five percent will go to the Brazos Valley Food Bank and the remaining funds will go to feed the hungry all over the world. I’m so proud of our teenagers for walking those 3 miles and raising over $300! That’s awesome and we’re looking forward to raising even more next year!
Thanks to Holly for making our shirts and enduring the torture of having her feet painted, which not many people…eh hem, Mimi 😉 could stand without rolling on the floor laughing! Oh, and the first night we attempted the shirts the power went out at church so we were in the pitch dark. That didn’t stop us though! All we had to do was have everyone pull out there cell phones and BAM! So, enough words. Here’s the pictures!
Allen, Chris, Molly, Hannah, and Charity waiting on their burgers, some are more hungry than others as you will see…
That is one large burger!
Ok parents, forget the iPhones and just buy them a few helium balloons…fun for hours!
It’s all fun and games until someone passes out…just ask Molly 🙂
(By the way, no teenagers were harmed in the making of this blog.)
I see you Charity!
